The adventure is built around a dimensional-hopping giant turtle and the inn on its back. Over the years I've worked as a content creator, I've written a dozen adventures taking place in the open skies. A lot of times, I find myself wondering why such an inspiring and beautiful concept is left so wildly unexplored. -Panos
Our goal for Nuzzledrift's Bestiary is to expand on those concepts and provide you and your players with an immersive world to explore. Whether you admire the book as the newest part of your collection, use the monsters to entertain your players with new challenges, the mystical regions of Faral'Kaz to bring a breath of fresh air into your world, or even the world itself as a cornerstone of your next or ongoing campaign, we hope this supplement tickles your adventuring curiosity and pushes you forward in places you never thought possible!
Inside the bestiary, you'll find creatures like the majestic Auralings, which grow more feathers with age and strength; the ferocious Cloud Sharks, whose fins spread terror as they swim through the clouds; the imposing Guardians of the Sky, a religious group of half-angels who protect the sacred Sky Temples; along with many other Unique and Exciting Beasts, Monsters, and Humanoids. Their only similarity? All live in the sky.
All monsters come with Unique Statblocks, Rich Lore to flesh them out & their place in the world, as well as the occasional Note from Nuzzledrift and his apprentice, Tala. Some belong to a monster family, like the Elementals, Sky Sharks, or Tempest Foxes, while others are unique, like the Astral Rays, majestic creatures flying on star-lit skies!
Not all monsters are born equal. Legendary & Mythical Creatures have their own two-page-spread full of Unique art, Lore, Lair, and Adventure Hooks to get your players invested!

To get you started, physical copies of the bestiary also contain the adventure Vault of the Sky Thieves, where the heroes must explore a sky island, meet the kobold pirates, and use their airship to fight off the Sky King, a massive sky viper.
This adventure will be included as an appendix, not a separate physical product.
No bestiary could be complete without a detailed description of its creatures' biomes. Nuzzledrift's Bestiary contains a fully immersive setting where you can drop your players and have them explore, set up a short or longer adventure, or even just visualize it as you lay in your bed, reading about its quirky, mystical monsters.
Faral'Kaz, the Realm of Clouds, is a massive ball of water with hardly any ground to stand on. Floating above it are hundreds of thousands of sky islands, forming unique regions like the Rotating Sky Spires, Hanging Gardens, and Isles of Everlasting Dawn.

Traveling through the Floating Isles happens on majestic airships soaring through the sky. These airships vary in size and form, but for your convenience, the bestiary includes a custom Hand-Drawn vessel with operating guidelines, a statblock, and all other necessary information. Of course, you don't need to limit this design to the Floating Isles. Wherever your campaign takes place, there is always room for an airship.
